Carlos Taboada, Dr.oec. - General Coordinator

Carlos Manuel Taboada Rodriguez (Dr.oec., Technische Universität Dresden) heads the Logistics Performance Lab (LDL) at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Brazil. His primary research interests are in the areas of Logistics Performance and Logistics Benchmarking. He studied Industrial Engineering at the Havana University, Cuba, and had experience as a consultant on Business Logistics in different industrial sectors. Taboada is the general coordinator of a Brazilian Regional Program on Business Logistics and a consultant in the Industries Federation of Santa Catarina State (FIESC), Brazil. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Production and Systems Engineering of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC).

Francielly Hedler Staudt, MSc. Eng. - Project Coordinator

Francielly Hedler Staudt is a doctoral student on Logistics in the Production Engineer Graduate Program at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Brazil. She holds a BEng degree and a MSc degree in Production Engineering from UFSC. Her industrial experience includes design, planning and control of production systems. Her doctorate is developed in co-tutelage between UFSC (Brazil) and UDG (France) under supervision of Prof. Carlos Taboada from LDL lab (UFSC) and Prof. Maria Di Mascolo and Prof. Gülgün Alpan from G-SCOP lab (UDG). Her primary research interests are: logistics performance, warehouse and stocks management.

Marina Bouzon, MSc. Eng. - Scientific Coordinator

Marina Bouzon is a doctoral student on Logistics in the Production Engineer Graduate Program at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Brazil. She holds a BEng degree in Production Engineering and a MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from UFSC. Her industrial experience in Brazil includes working as a business management consultant for technology-based companies and working on Lean Manufacturing and Logistics in multinational companies. In France, she worked on Quality for ArcelorMittal steel company. Currently, she is also a member of the Logistics Performance Lab (LDL) at UFSC. Her primary research interests are: reverse logistics, sustainable supply chain and product recovery.

Caroline Rodrigues Vaz, M.Sc.

Presently PhD student in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina and scholarship by CNPq. And researcher by CAPES, the École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tarbes, under the supervision of the teacher Bernard Grabot in the Laboratory of Production Engineering. Graduated in Food Technology (2007), Specialization in Science Education and Technology (2008), Specialization in Industrial Management: Production and Maintenance (2009) and Master in Production Engineering (2010) by the Federal Technological University of Paraná, Campus Ponta Grossa and participated as a fellow of the Education Assistance Program (EAP) by CAPES. The experience in Food Technology with an emphasis in nutrition, and in the area of Production Engineering, with emphasis on Production Systems. The most frequent terms in scientific production are: Organizational Environmental Management, Cleaner Production, Performance Indicators, ISO 14001, Life Cycle Analysis and Sustainability of production processes. Besides, Intellectual Capital, Intangible Assets and Reverse Logistics.
